This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
